In some instances, Evans & Evans acts as Principal with its clients when performing in a corporate finance advocacy role. In these cases, Evans & Evans can structure transactions with its clients that are creative and flexible and may involve equity or investment participation as opposed to a fee-for-service relationship.

A Merchant Banking role can be performed in a number of situations including:

• Direct private equity investments;
• Bridge financing leading up to a public offering;
• Going-private transactions; and
• Leveraged and/or management buyout transactions.
