James has over 20 years’ experience as a senior equity partner in major New York and London based international law firms. His focus was advising clients on a broad range of mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions, in primarily the energy, technology, infrastructure, telecommunications, and natural resource sectors. James is highly experienced in emerging markets, cross-border transactions, negotiated acquisitions, and private equity. He is currently serving as a director of several public and private companies focused on natural resources or technology, where he was a founder or active initial investor.
James received his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, Master of Public Policy degree from Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard College.
